Academy nominated animator Joanna Quinn is donating this wonderful sketch based on the opening scene of Family Ties with Beryl trying to catch the cherubs. The film has won 14 international prizes including Cartoon d'Or. If you haven't seen any of her work - you should! Brilliant artist, brilliant animator, brilliant storyteller with a wicked sense of humour. Sunset at Ireland Lake. A photograph donated by Ian House.

"Ireland Lake. I finally got there, August 2010. The loop trail goes from Tuolumne Meadows through Lyell Canyon and up to Ireland Lake, before returning to the Meadows, via Volgelsang High Camp and Rafferty Creek. The majesty of the Sierra keeps calling me home. Backpacking Yosemite is what I live for. By sharing it's phenomenal beauty, I hope to inspire others to experience the high ground for themselves."

eggs·act·ly
Derek Williams is a sets supervisor at Pixar, but most importantly Derek hails from England and despite the fact that he has probably lived in the US nearly as long as he has lived in the UK, he still speaks in cockney rhyming slang, buys British, plays 'football' and eats curly wurlys. And also takes stunning photographs too. Derek created these beautiful fine art photographs for 'Mother Hen'. . . hmm, I wonder if they're English eggs?

Corcoise
Another artist whose work I am in love with; L Filipe dos Santos aka Corcoise, from Portugal. He paints/sketches the most incredible portraits. Here's a work which he is donating to 'Mother Hen' - adorable.
